Zephyr ProteomiX offers our customers the development and production of custom recombinant peptides using its proprietary Zephyrin fusion-expression system. Zephyr has established a cost-effective technology to express and purify recombinant peptides from small scale to pilot scale to industrial scale. For this purpose, we use a range of chemical or enzymatic cleavage strategies to release the recombinant peptide from its fusion partner. In addition, we employ an affinity chromatography step that enables one-step purification of the fused peptide from E. coli lysates. We can offer our customer the following:
- Recombinant Zephyrin-fused peptide (for immunization instead of conventional protein carrier)
- Peptide immobilization via Zephyrin, using a beaded cellulose matrix
- Specific oriented labeling (biotin, FITC, etc.) of the recombinant peptide.
