Zephyr ProteomiX provides its unique Self-Bind™ peptide microarray services to generate customized low-to-high content peptide microarrays. The Self-Bind™ peptide microarray combines Zephyr's CelluloSlideTM with the versatile properties of the Zephyrin molecule. The technology provides two different approaches for construction of a peptide microarray.
The chemical version of the Self-Bind™ peptide microarray is based on oriented conjugation of peptides to the Zephyrin™ carrier molecule. This version allows simple yet oriented immobilization of peptides that are routinely synthesized chemically with a cysteine residue at their C- or N-terminus. The recombinant version of the Self-Bind™ peptide microarray involves fusion of the desired peptide to Zephyrin™ and its expression in an E. coli host cell system. The recombinant purified Zephyrin-fused peptide is used for peptide microarray production. In addition, our recombinant version enables production of constrained and structural peptide microarrays. In both versions of the Self-Bind™ peptide microarray, multiple copies of peptide microarrays can be prepared at unmatched prices and turnaround rates.

microarray services
Zephyr ProteomiX provides its unique self-bind™ small molecule microarray platform to generate customized low-to-high content small molecule microarray. The Self-Bind™ small-molecule microarray combing Zephyr's CelluloSlide™ with the versatile properties of the Zephyrin molecule. The technology is based on versatile chemical conjugation of the small molecule to a chemically activated form of the Zephyrin™ molecule. This technology provides oriented and controllable immobilization of the desired small-molecule to our carrier molecule - Zephyrin™. Small-molecules (such as carbohydrates, hormones, etc.) with accessible amine, hydroxyl or thiol (sulphydryl group) groups can be easily immobilized on the CelluloSlide™ via the Zephyrin™ molecule. The Self-Bind™ enables the production of multiple copies of small-molecule microarrays at unmatched prices and turnaround times.
